Since this is my first post (ever!!) and I'm completely new to this whole blog thing, this is a very very exciting moment for me.
I've been thinking about creating my own blog for a long time now, since I absolutely love reading other blogs and enjoy writing a lot.
I never felt enough confident though. I was also worried that blogging might consume a bit too much time.
Well, as you can tell I've decided to give it a go though. And I'm pretty happy with my decision so far. Listening to your heart is very important, you know ;)
Now onto some facts about me:
- Ellie's my nickname (at least it's one of them. I've got quite a few)
- I'm seventeen years of age
- I love England very much. And Ireland. Anything british really
- rain always makes me happy
- my favourite colour is green. Or blue. Both are amazing colours I find
- when I first decided to create a blog I was stuck with finding a suitable name for it. I can assure you it was not easy at all. 'haertoverhaed' actually means 'heart over head' (I just swapped the e and the a in both nouns) which is a saying that has a personal meaning to me. I'll probably tell you more about that sometime later
- I don't have a favourite food. I like all kinds of food (except for fish and super spicy things)
- I am not a vegetarian. But I don't eat much meat either
- my favourite season is probably summer or early autumn
- cold temperatures make me go mad. I just don't like them. At all
- I enjoy taking photos and making videos a lot. I had an instagram account for quite a long time. I mainly posted artsy pictures of me and my friends and some nature shots on there. I stopped posting pictures though. I don't really know why, it just wasn't as much fun as in the beginning
- I also like make up. I find it interesting in some ways. I don't wear much of it though, as I am a total beginner at it
- seven is my favourite number
- I collect old postcards, special kinds of price tags and much more. I'd definitely call myself a collector
- I used to play the cello (for about two years) when I was younger
- my all time favourite song is 'Good Life' by OneRepublic (which I'm listening to while writing this ;))
- my favourite feature about myself (talking about appearance) would have to be my eyes, as I like the colours they have (see favourite colours)
- my favourite animals are cats. They are just soo lovely! Plus I have a cat myself: His name's Leonardo and he's about two years old
Since I can't think of any more facts right now and I guess you kind of got the idea of who I am (18 facts is quite a few, you have to admit) this is where my first blog (almost) ends.

Wait a second! Talking about me all the time I almost forgot to tell you what this blog will be about: Well, to be honest I don't even really know it myself so far. It's not the easiest thing to decide in my opinion, since there are sooo many options!
It will surely include photography. I'd also like to tell you about random things I experience and such every now and then. We'll see, right?! I'm absolutely sure it'll become something special :)
